Taekwondo began in 1945 shortly after the end of World War Two. During this time Taekwondo was adopted for use by the South Korean military. It was used train the body with strength, power, speed, endurance, and coordination. Taekwondo helps build certain values and principles such as self-esteem, respect, courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control, indomitable spirit, and confidence. At the Komodo Training Center we strive to build young leaders with strong values.
As parents we know the importance of having our children in a safe and reliable environment. At the Komodo Training Center, we emphasize in building young leaders with character. Martial arts will improve respect, self-control, good behavior, healthy habits, confidence, and leadership skills. Our bully prevention program will also help improve confidence and teach your children the skills necessary to deal with bullying.
